I got Jared’s name through a referral - I was told he was fast, reliable and reasonable. He was better than that! We had the AC die at our sister-in-law’s townhouse. Ductless Plus is a dream to work with.They booked an appointment for one week out, came on time, and did a terrific job for a fair price.For years I had my Mitsubishi mini split serviced by a large company that charged $400 - $600, often stood me up, and once rescheduled my appointment 5 times. I was having issues with my AC, so I contacted Ductless Plus. Jared was very responsive and was able to come out quickly to take a look. He diagnosed the issue, installed a hard start kit on my AC unit, and got everything working properly again. The service was professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. My AC is running great now. We just had 3 Mitsubishi AC/Heater units installed in our old (1920) house and are absolutely loving it. This Summer has been relentless with +90 degree days, and we finally decided enough was enough. After just over a week of the installation process, we're finally comfortable in our old home! I can't tell you how glad I was to finally remove the old window AC units as well as to be able to close the vent and put the cover on the swamp cooler (for the last time!). Jared and his team were great throughout the entire process. We reached out to multiple companies in our initial search, and Ductless Plus was $8,000 (yes) lower than another Denver area competitor. It's difficult to find professional, detail-oriented people in any profession, let alone residential contractors. Jared and every single member of his team were consummate professionals and ensured that our every request was fulfilled and the quality of work far exceeded expectations. Everything from the initial consultation to upgrading our main panel, installing a sub-panel and associated electrical runs, the placement and installation of the indoor and outdoor AC units, outside wiring, drainage, and line hide was conducted pristinely. Within the hour of turning the units on, a steady, crisp and cool flow permeated not just the zones our system was installed for, but the adjacent rooms as well. When I contacted Ductless Plus and spoke with Jared, we were in a tight spot. We had just purchased a condo in a historic building that lacked air conditioning. One HVAC company had canceled on us because they couldn’t meet the specifications of the HOA, and another, realizing we needed A/C sooner rather than later, not only took a week to give us an estimate, but also wanted to charge twice the original price. Jared, knowing the situation, went on site the next day, sent me videos of where the mini-splits would be placed and why, and even won the backing of the HOA who had been concerned about how the work would impact the building’s facade—all in one day. Just speaking with him about the job, I could tell he had so much more knowledge than the guys from both of the previous companies. The HOA was also impressed.He and his crew worked efficiently, doing a job of the highest quality. The walls that were reconstructed were absolutely seamless. My old ductless outdoor unit quit working and I decided to replace it rather than put money out on a 13 year old system. I researched HVAC contractors and decided to go with a company that specialized in ductless systems and that company was Ductless Plus. Jared came out to discuss my system and my options. Clearly, a new outdoor unit was my best option. A week later his team was on site at 10 AM and started working.Bo Ward and his assistant William did a fantastic job. His knowledge and attention to detail was very apparent and impressive. I worked for 40 years around complex systems and observing technical experts so I have a sense when a person is a knowledgeable professional or trying to act like one. They worked a solid 9 hours without a break and he even made sure no mice can get into the outdoor unit. I feel very confident the job was done right and will call on Ductless Plus for any future needs.

Ductless Plus Electric exceeded our expectations; they were absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation. We had them install four ductless A/C units in our older home, which posed more than a few challenges — high ceilings that trap heat, tricky drywall and paint work, and strict HOA specs for all exterior pipes and wiring. None of that slowed them down though..Their team approached the project with great knowledge and professionalism. They were timely, detail-oriented, and clearly masters in their field. What really impressed me was their ability to seamlessly handle every aspect of the job — from electrical work to drywall finishing — leaving everything looking clean and polished. They navigated our HOA requirements carefully and delivered a solution that both looked great and complied perfectly with all guidelines.It’s rare to find a contractor who can combine speed, craftsmanship, and an excellent finished product the way Ductless Plus Electric did. I cannot say enough about Jared and his integrity as a business owner. Not only am I happy with the mitsubishi heat pumps he installed, I am impressed with him as a person. All of his employees were polite and efficient. There were enough people to do the job and he wasn't rushing them to finish. He did a full walk through with me and my partner at the end of the job.As for the product, he was the only company to come in and measure my home to plug those numbers into a program to best heat/cool. It was more expensive, but I am confident that I purchased the best equipment and the right set up.You can't go wrong when hiring Ductless Plus!

Last May we were having a new roof installed and I decided to have the swamp cooler removed from the roof. Our home uses a boiler system and baseboards for heat, so in order to install air conditioning, our best option was a mini split system. After getting quotes from three different reputable Denver companies, we chose to go with Ductless Plus Electric and their Mitsubishi system. When you do your research, you quickly learn that when it comes to mini split air conditioning systems, Mitsubishi is the best in the business with top ratings and reviews.During the initial visit, Jared really took the time to come up with the best design from both a functional, and aesthetic perspective for our home. Our large system required 4 units, plus the outside compressor. Jared showed us the advantages of using recessed ceiling mounted units, instead of wall units. Other companies we brought in only suggested wall mounted units, and didn’t even mention that ceiling units were an option. While wall units are functional, they are unattractive and can be in the way of the home decor. Ceiling mounted units are almost hidden and much less noticeable. They also do a better job of cooling rooms with tall ceilings, where the heat collects up high. As a bonus, because this system is a heat pump, it can also provide backup heating to our existing system in the case our boiler ever has issues. Heat pump systems currently qualify for certain tax breaks too, which is great!Jared and his team did a fantastic job with the installation. We were initially concerned that we would have a bunch of separate lines for the 4 units running down the side of the house. However, Jared’s team was able to bring the lines down together in one clean line-hide, instead of multiple lines and drains running down the outside of the house. It was a very clean and professional look. His team was always on time, respectful of our house, and gave good communication throughout the project.Based on our great experience and installation, we highly recommend Ductless Plus to anyone looking for this type of system. We will definitely use them again for any future needs.

We decided that the Mitsubishi Mini-Split was the way to go, we compared many contractors and Ductless Plus Electric an elite diamond dealer for Mitsubishi Electric is clearly at the TOP of our list!!! Ductless Plus Electric are truly mini split experts! In the beginning stages from the initial walkthrough Jared with Ductless Plus stood out from the rest, he explained everything to me in detail and is passionate about what he does and worked with me on a super clean design for the system in our home.Although their quote came in very competitively priced with the other contractors, however, with their system components they proposed were far superior to the other vendors and thus a better value!! Ductless Plus saved our hides!In May of 2024 we agreed to a replacement HVAC project with what appeared to be a highly rated local contractor. Three months later the project we had signed up for was in shambles.The original contractor (name being withheld pending possible litigation) had effectively abandoned us.We were initially told the project would take less than two weeks. We were also told that no up-front payment would be required. That situation changed quickly when after the first few days of installation the owner called to request 50% payment for the hardware already delivered. We agreed to the request but that should have been a warning sign.We were out of town in early June when the contractor advised their work had been completed and they requested the remaining 50% payment. Being trusting of these guys and without having tested the system ourselves we remitted full payment. Yes – that was a mistake!Once we arrived home, we were disappointed to see that our project was not completed. Although it appeared all hardware had been installed, the facts were that nothing worked – nothing!Throughout the summer the project dragged on and on, neither our heating nor cooling equipment worked for more than one day. Two months of nothing getting done were taken up by excuses such as:• Wifi connectivity investigations• Multiple excuses for and attempts to address the coil frost errors• A reported control panel failure• A reported blown fuse issue• Contractor had other high priority projects• At one point the contractor’s truck broke down• An occasional week or longer between contractor visits where we received no status information whatsoeverIn mid-August we fired the that contractor. At that point with summer about to end and the cold season about to start we found ourselves in a situation with no cooling and no heating. Perhaps worse, we contacted two other HVAC contractors for help. Neither of them wanted any part of trying to fix someone else’s mess.Fortunately, around this time we found Jared and his great Ductless Plus team on the Internet. They agreed to help us.Jared met with us the following week and he provided us with the following assessments.• The overall design of our system was invalid. The heat pump setup that had been implemented would not even pass the design tool that Mitsubishi expects of their installation professionals. This system install should never have been attempted!• There had been no attempt made to shield the Mitsubishi compressor from the elements – even though there was a suitable structural overhang less than 20 feet away.• A number of implementation items that did not meet code or did not meet Industry best practices. For example, certain indoor electrical components had been installed outside.• There were drain lines in the attic that did not flow downhill – potentially accumulating moisture for months.• The attic fluid lines were undersized and their flow was impeded by hard bends vs. the industry best practice of rounded bends.• Some of our initial investment was salvageable, however significant additional costs would be required to salvage the project.• Ductless Plus could not promise that they would not encounter any unexpected issues with our system’s original implementation.• Having said that, Ductless Plus was able and willing to take on the liability of salvaging our project.• A silver lining was that the Ductless Plus solution would (if all went as planned) provide with additional system functionality – albeit at significant extra cost to us.It is now early November; our cooling & heating functionality are in great shape thanks to Jared & team. We may possibly be the biggest fans of Ductless Plus.So, with the cold weather season starting, the Ductless Plus folks have saved our hides – literally!We hope this long-winded account will help others to avoid the lessons we’ve learned.

1 year review owning this system: TLDR- this is one of the best things I've ever purchased, the system works flawlessly, and the Ductless Plus team was outstanding.July 2023 I had 4 Mitsubishi Electric ceiling mounted heat/cool units installed in upstairs bedrooms with one large condenser outside. My second floor struggled immensely in the summer to stay cool. The home's existing HVAC design poorly managed to transport cold air from the basement blower up to the second floor. Other HVAC companies quoted installing a new traditional HVAC system but the geometry and physical layout of airducts and airflow simply didn't allow for effective cooling on the 2nd floor no matter how large of a system I purchased. After ample online research, I discovered the ductless system and saw some of Jared's YouTube videos (see channel "Ductless Plus HVAC"). I was pleasantly surprised he was in the Denver area and I called him out to my home.As we scoped the project, Jared advised me on the best placement for all parts - the ceiling units, the outdoor condenser, and even the concealed track for the electrical, freon, and drain lines.Jared and his team (Chris, Logan, Johnny, and Denver) installed the project over a 5-day period, Monday thru Friday, just as his project plan outlined. I had a new baby on the way and his team even expedited the project to get on their schedule sooner. At the end of each day of work, his crew walked me room through room to show how well they had cleaned my home. They were meticulous and thoughtful to take care of their work and clean up daily. These guys worked so hard spending hours in an upstairs attic in July and I'm grateful of the tough work and time they put in.This technology is a cheat code for comfort and peace of mind amidst scorching summers and sub-zero winters. As far as the equipment goes, these units are unbelievably easy to use and they work FAST... heating or cooling a room to a desired temperature in a matter of minutes. They are incredibly quiet (including the outdoor unit - it makes 10% of the noise of my existing condenser), and the remote controls are simple to navigate. The maintenance is essentially zero - pop out a simple filter once/month, rinse and let air dry, and pop back in.Overall, this project was a huge investment - Mitsubishi Electric units are top of the line and you're getting a masterful installation with lengthy warranty on parts and labor - but considering the value of what you're getting: room by room climate control that's fast, quiet, and efficient and will last for decades - you pay a premium but you get a premium. And when the time comes to replace my existing HVAC systems, I can reduce the size and cost because the second floor is taken care of with the ductless system.A+, 5/5, 100%, all of the above.
